Our new pastor is The Reverend Dr. Don Pratt, and he will be joining us at St. Paul on February 15, 2022. His first Sunday preaching will be February 20.
Pastor Don has a Master’s degree in Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry. He has experience leading six different churches, and has been a keynote speaker at several conferences on church growth and leadership. He has led chapel for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and has been featured multiple times on a podcast devoted to exceptional preaching. His latest appointment has been with Sebastian United Methodist.
Some of the unique aspects of his ministry background include the fact that he has:
- Led a church with ministries for adults with disabilities
- Overseen building an expansion on a new campus
- Helped to start a new church
His theology is of grace and welcome, believing that love is the greatest power to change the world.
He has been married to his wife Cindy, who is an elementary school teacher, for 38 years. Cindy also has a degree in religious education. They have three adult daughters, who live in Poland, Seattle, and Orlando.
We will keep you updated as more information becomes available, including details of how we will welcome him in February. Until he joins us, St. Paul staff will continue to handle church duties under the leadership of Pastor Pam. We look forward to Pastor Don and Cindy joining our family at St. Paul!
