St. Paul Stephen Ministry Celebrates 25 Years
We are proud to celebrate 25 years of Stephen Ministry at St. Paul UMC! Over the past 25 years our Stephen Ministers have touched so many lives with the caring support they've offered to hurting individuals in our church and community. As part of our celebration we have collected testimony from some of our past Stephen Ministers and St. Paul Pastors, including the two below, as well as additional letters that will be heard during worship.
From a former pastor at St. Paul, Joe Walker, and his wife Jackie:
What a great milestone you have achieved. The Stephen Ministry has helped countless people at St. Paul UMC and in the surrounding community. Lives have been changed because you and the many who have served were willing to go beyond your comfort zone and trust God to work through you to help others. God has provided!
I am sorry that Jackie and I are unable to be with you to celebrate, but know that our hearts and prayers are with you. Thank you all for serving our Lord.
My God continue to bless all who serve at St. Paul UMC.

I'm very happy to share that I use all that I've learned from Stephen Ministry as tools in my toolbox daily. Both physically and spiritually. I thank God He gave me this wonderful opportunity as a way to get to know Him better and to be a better servant. I am also proud to say that we are a third generation Stephen Ministry family, and my desire is to see the 4th!
