flipt? what is it?

flipt is all about families having fun together & growing closer to one another in the process. How great is it on the flipside? You’ve got to come and find out!

People have asked me, “What’s the deal with “flipt?” What does the word “flipt” mean. In a nutshell…when you & I meet Jesus, our entire world gets “flipt!” That’s who Jesus is – he’s a life changer. If we let him, he will make us into whole people who love without hesitation. Jesus is at the center of everything we do at flipt! So I ask, spending time on the flipside...what could be better than that?

At flipt you will find young families spending time together, talking with each other, even being silly together. Upon arrival at any given flipt, you’ll be given a door prize ticket & nametag. Then we’ll help you find a place to sit. All of the tables have fun things to do on them – games, play-doh, crayons, markers, discussion questions. For about 30 minutes, your family has the opportunity to do whatever you choose, as long as you are doing something that makes you smile. Next we’ll serve you a hot meal of gourmet kid’s cuisine (only $3 a plate!). Ron & Dan do a super job cooking our yummy meals. After dinner we’ll play a large group game & watch a short DVD (So far we’ve gone with Holly to an amusement park & a lake for some water ski action). We’ve been learning how Jesus wants us to live – his way & without fear. To close the night we’ll give away some fun door prizes, say a prayer & be on our way. Don’t worry, we’ll get you home just in time for bedtime!

The flipside is all about connecting. Connecting with your family & connecting with other families. Flipt is a community & we invite your family to join. Since January, we’ve had 4 flipts & we’ve had over 100 people check us out. So, “Say no to Fear” & give flipt a try.
