United Methodist Women

We are women like you…women of all ages, from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds who are employed, not employed; businesswomen; housewives; single, married, and divorced.

We exist to love and serve. We exist for Christian fellowship, friendship, and support, helping women learn about themselves and their purpose in today’s fast-paced world. We serve through both local and global missions.

Please join us! We meet three times a year as an entire group and also in smaller monthly groups (we call them circles) for fellowship, study, and service.

Circles

Dorcas:

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 9:00 A.M. (September – June). We meet in the CLEC, Arts & Crafts Room. We are a sewing circle and we welcome all willing hands. Our projects are children’s clothing, lap robes, and ditty bags. Our products are both sold and given away to support various local and global mission organizations.

Esther:

We meet the 1st Tuesday of the month at 9:00 A.M. (September – May). We meet in the CLEC, Room 101. Our programs include various speakers and activities. Our outreach projects are the Children’s Home, ditty bags, RCS Food Pantry and the Good Samaritan Mission.

Hannah:

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:45 P.M. (Year Round). We meet in the South Fellowship Hall (in the CMC). Our programs consist of guest speakers and activities including the annual Hannah’s Tea. Our outreach projects include various local mission organizations focusing on women, children, and families.

Rachel/Lydia:

We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. (September – June). We meet in the CLEC, Room 101. Our programs include speakers and various activities including the annual Dessert Theater. Our outreach projects include nursing homes, teaching supplies for the school system homebound program, pediatric medical supplies for foreign mission, and ditty bags.
