Night of Joy

Night of Joy is a trip Orlando for two nights of contemporary Christian music concerts at the Wide World of Sports park as well as a trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom. This year's Night of Joy dates are September 8-10. We will leave on Friday, September 8 and stay at St. Luke's UMC in Orlando both nights. Both middle school and high school students are welcome to join us.
Cost
The cost for the trip is $140 which includes the concerts, admission to Disney's Wide World of Sports and the Magic Kingdom, and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Each student should wear their green Student Ministry t-shirt. If you need to buy one the total cost for the trip will be $150.
A $75 deposit is due on July 30 and the remaining balance is due on August 20.

Friday, September 8
3 p.m. Departing: September 8 at (You can bring your suitcase and sleeping bag early to the church from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 7)
5 p.m. Arrive at Wide World of Sports, get dinner, free time
6 p.m. Concerts begin in 3 different locations. Students will stay in groups of 3 and can walk around the property.
11:30 p.m. Depart for St. Luke’s UMC
Saturday, September 9
9:00 a.m. Arrive at Magic Kingdom
5:00 p.m. Depart for Wide World of Sports
11:30 p.m. Depart for St. Luke’s UMC
Sunday, September 10
9:30 a.m. Worship at St. Luke’s UMC
11:00 a.m. Lunch on the road
2:00 p.m. Arriving back at church
WHAT TO PACK
Student Ministry green shirt to wear on Saturday in the park, sleeping bag or air mattress, pillow, shower shoes, towel, toiletries, poncho/raincoat, sunglasses, sunscreen, clothes/shoes for church on Sunday morning, money for 4 road meals (2 dinners at Wide World of Sports, 1 lunch at Disney, and 1 on the way home), snacks.
