The Gospel of Luke
The Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Study Group invites all men interested in developing a stronger walk with the Lord to join our Bible Study.
Starting AUGUST 16th we will begin studying LUKE’S MESSAGE: Good News for the New Millennium. Some of the questions to be studied will be:
- What was Luke’s world like?
- What was Luke’s Gospel about?
- What does Luke teach about the human condition?
- What does Luke teach about Jesus Christ?
- How does Luke teach us to understand our times?
- What does Luke teach us about living in the 3rd millennium?
Come, join us…bring your coffee. We meet at 7:00 AM every Thursday morning, beginning August 16th in Room 248 in the Christian Life Enrichment Center.
Discerning the Voice of God
A study by Priscilla Shirer is led by Deb Byrnes on Monday nights at 7:00 PM in the Mariposa Cafe.
Beginning Monday, January 7th, come and enjoy this study that enables women grow closer to God through his Word. Learn how to discern the voice of God.

Beth Moore’s To Live is Christ: The Life & Ministry of Paul
Beginning on Thursday, January 10th, this study is facilitated by Connie Mathews and Kathy Carr. This group of women meet on Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM in CLEC Room 218 to study the Acts & epistles of Paul. “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
The book cost is $15.00.
When Godly People do Ungodly Things
This study is a wonderful study by Beth Moore for those of us who feel subjected to (and defeated by) Satan’s attacks and need to feel the restoration that can only come through Jesus Christ. Join Linda Benoit, beginning Monday, January 28th, at 6:30pm in the CLEC Journey Room (#202) for this excellent study based on 1 Samuel 12:20-25.

I’ll Bring the Chocolate
A new online study, “I’ll Bring the Chocolate” by Karen Porter, will begin on Monday, January 14th. Combining true stories, Biblical examples, and chocolate recipes (yum!!), Porter explores 8 ways that friends can help one another enjoy life – and point each other to the God who made every good and perfect gifts – including chocolate! This five week group-led study, coordinated by Debbie Brimacombe, will conclude with a special “afternoon apart” on Saturday, February 16th.
